A Gift For Teaching.

The Problem

How might we help a person wanting to donate to A Gift For Teaching feel more confident about the process so that teachers and students can better focus on their education?

The Solution

From the positive results from our hifi testing we were able to direct a streamline flow that was engaging and delightful for our user by reorganizing and simplifying the existing content for the navigation throughout the website.

First steps of user research.

Our main goal when conducting interviews was to understand the process people are currently experiencing when looking to donate time, funds or school supplies for local non profit charities in this industry. Also, identify the users process and behaviors when getting involved with a cause/nonprofit website.

User Persona.

Shelby is a product manager who works at a manufacturing plant. She has two sons that attend a local elementary school. She loves her job but is always concerned about balancing work and life. She is passionate about her children’s education and donates financially when she can.

The Final Solution.

User testings were conducted during low-fidelity, mid-fidelity and high-fidelity prototypes to validate assumptions and identify possible issues.
